Professional conferences: surface treatment and steel structures

In the first half of 2025, two major professional events were held, focusing on
current topics in the field of industrial coatings, automation of production processes and design
of steel structures. At both professional events, we had the opportunity to have a presence at the booth where
on behalf of the CORROTECH Group we presented special
Sponge-Jet, Bristle Blaster blasting technologies from our broad product portfolio.

• On 19-20 March 2025, the conference “Design and Operation of
  Surface Treatments” was held in Prague. The programme offered 35 expert lectures, which covered not only
  technological innovations, but also legislative changes such as the amendment to the
  Air Protection Act. Much emphasis was placed on material saving, chemical recycling, microfiltration and
  automation of paint shops. The speakers presented innovative robotic applications, the use of nitrogen in
  painting and dry ice blasting. The conference concluded with a field trip to the F.X.
  Meiller paint shop in Slany, which offered attendees a glimpse of modern coating operations in
  practice.
• On 5 June 2025, the traditional XXVIIth conference “Steel
  structures” was held in Hradec Kralove. The full-day programme was divided into four thematic blocks. The first one was dedicated to
  surface treatments, the second block focused on new standards and Eurocodes, especially
  EN 1993-1-14, which deals with advanced design of steel structures using the
  finite element method (FEM). The third part of the conference was devoted to BIM issues and the final
  block brought concrete project examples, such as the design of the Tatran Prešov stadium or the structural
  assessment of the concrete plant in Prostějov.

Both events were well attended by engineers, designers, investors and technology suppliers, and
contributed to deepening interdisciplinary cooperation.
