Detailed description

Styrene is mainly used as a solvent for polyester and vinyl ester coatings and resins, and is used for pre-cleaning application equipment and tools. It is used in the production of dyes, plastics, in the rubber industry. The most important is its use for polymerisation to produce one of the most common plastics - polystyrene. But it is also used in the production of adhesives, photographic films, inks, automotive components, packaging materials, plastic tableware and many other consumer goods.
