21st Surface Treatment Seminar in Brno

On November 26–27, 2025, the 21st annual international professional seminar “Progressive and Non-Traditional Surface Treatment Technologies” took place in Brno. The two-day event featured the latest industry developments and attracted experts from across the Czech Republic and abroad.

During the seminar, participants learned about new methods for cleaning surfaces using CO₂ dry ice, robotic painting cells, modern degreasing agents, and alternatives to chromium (Cr(6+)) in coating systems. The use of IoT technologies for monitoring corrosion protection also attracted a great deal of attention.

The seminar also included a social evening that fostered networking and the sharing of experiences among experts. The event confirmed that surface treatments are a rapidly evolving field in which innovation, efficiency, and sustainability play a key role.
