Surface Preparation
Removal of the original protective coating from the rubberized surface. Decontamination of the substrate to remove dirt, oils, grease, and salts. Surface preparation in accordance with ISO 8501-1 to a cleanliness level of Sa 2½.

Coating systems applied:
NS-1A = 1,200 μm DFT (2,000 μm DFT for laminated surfaces)
Substrate used:
Bottom and walls up to a height of 1.5 m inside two tanks, carbon steel, 113.4 m²
Treatments:
- Conducting the relevant quality tests in accordance with PKZ
- Removal of the original protective layer
- Decontamination of the substrate to remove dirt, oils, grease, and salts
- Surface preparation in accordance with ISO 8501-1 to a cleanliness level of Sa2.5
- Surface preparation in accordance with ISO 8501-1 to cleanliness level Sa2.5
- Application of POLYGLASS PPA Primer
- Repair of Defective Areas Using CORROFILL VE
- Application of the CORROGLASS AR4 LR Laminating Layer + 600 g/m² Glass Fabric
- Application of a Corrosion Barrier Using CORROGLASS AR4 Material
