Boron carbide is the most durable liner available – so these nozzles work particularly well with aggressive abrasives such as corundum or steel grit are the most commonly used in blast boxes. The AIRBLAST® ABC, ABCX nozzle range includes long venturi nozzles with boron cabride liner and aluminium casing. Boron carbide is the most durable liner available - so these nozzles work particularly well with aggressive abrasives such as corundum or steel grit are the most commonly used in blast boxes. The ABC nozzle has an inlet opening of 25 mm (1"), the ABCX nozzle 32 mm (1 1/4"). Both are available with a standard 50 mm thread or a fine 41 mm thread. AIRBLAST® high-speed venturi nozzles have been designed for maximum blasting speed and uniform abrasive distribution. The venturi design of the nozzle creates an additional gradient and thus contributes to better mixing of abrasive and air. This increases performance and reduces abrasive consumption by up to 40% compared to direct discharge nozzles.
