The AIRBLAST® Helmet Air Filter (HAF) is designed to remove oil mist, water vapor and particles up to 0.5 microns in size from the air that is fed into the blasting helmet. The filter complies with OSHA regulation 1910.94(6)(II), which requires the installation and periodic maintenance of a separator and carbon filter to remove unwanted odors, water, oil mist, and other particles. The AIRBLAST® Helmet Air Filter (HAF) is designed to remove oil mist, water vapor and particles up to 0.5 microns in size from the air that is fed into the blasting helmet. The filter complies with OSHA regulation 1910.94(6)(II), which requires the installation and periodic maintenance of a separator and carbon filter to remove unwanted odors, water, oil mist, and other particles. The filter is supplied with a pressure reducing valve to reduce the pressure to that required when using the supplied helium, provided the inlet pressure does not exceed 125 PSI (8.6 bar).
