The AIRBLAST® Thompson Valve is a normally-sealed, self-sealing, abrasive metering valve known for its instantaneous response to either pneumatic or electric dead man’s clutch actuation. Detailed description

The AIRBLAST® Thompson Valve is a normally-sealed, self-sealing, abrasive metering valve known for its instantaneous response to either pneumatic or electric dead man's clutch actuation. This valve shuts off the abrasive stream into the nozzle and shuts off the blast vessel outlet at the same time. This allows the abrasive flow to be stopped remotely while the air flow remains constant. This provides a quick and easy way to clean the blast hose and blast area of abrasive. The Thompson valve is designed to provide increased operator safety and easily adapts to most existing blast systems.
