A special algorithm automatically filters out noise caused by reflection from grain materials from the back wall reflection. Ideal for measuring material thickness on large parts where conventional gauges cannot reach, corrosion losses inside closed vessels and other applications. Detail description

Interchangeable ultrasonic probe for PosiTector® with a frequency of 2.25 MHz for measuring the wall thickness of parts made of damping materials, especially cast iron. A special algorithm automatically filters out noise caused by reflection from grain materials from the back wall reflection. Ideal for measuring material thickness on large parts where conventional gauges cannot reach, corrosion losses inside closed vessels and other applications. The ultrasonic probe is mounted on a cable for easy handling. The probe is not suitable for measuring through a layer of paint, the paint must be removed before measurement. We also offer UTG M and UTG P probes that measure through the coating layer and do not need to be removed. The probe is sealed, allowing measurements underwater. The package includes a calibration certificate and 120 ml of binding gel.
