Participation in the 52nd PPPU Conference—Design and Operation of Surface Treatments
On the days 18. – On March 19, 2026, representatives of our company attended the 52nd annual PPPU conference—Design and Operation of Surface Treatment Processes—which was traditionally held at the Olšanka Hotel in Prague. With a history spanning more than fifty years, this event is a major professional gathering focused on legislation, technology, and the operation of surface treatment processes.
This year’s program offered a wide range of topics—from updates on legislation and environmental requirements to modern technologies in the fields of painting, blasting, electroplating, and coating thickness measurement. Presentations covered topics such as Cr³⁺-based hard chrome plating, water and chemical savings in the maintenance of cleaning baths, the efficiency of rotary atomizers, advanced laser surface treatment methods, and updates to the BREF document.
The program also included a social evening and a technical tour of NEONLAK, where participants viewed a modern automated coating line for plastic parts.
The conference once again reaffirmed its role as an important platform for sharing experiences, showcasing new technologies, and bringing together experts from across the industry.
