GRITCO® BM-MICROSTRIPS SERIES blast pressure vessels. The equipment is specially designed to blast with the finest abrasives at the lowest pressures. It is the most accurate machine on the market for industrial cleaning and fine restoration work. After the container is filled with abrasive, it is first pressurized by the operator to put it into standby mode. This is done by automatic valves that are controlled by a switch on the machine or on the hose lines. The actual start/stop blasting is remotely controlled by a dead man's clutch. The air valve is opened together with the normally closed Thompson valve II. This prevents unpleasant abrasive shot as with conventional boilers. As the container itself is already under pressure, the abrasive reaches the transport speed almost immediately. The abrasive dosing is done by creating a difference between the pressure in the vessel and the blasting pressure. With this small difference, the abrasive is "pushed" through the fixed opening of the dosing sleeve. In this way, the absolute minimum consumption of even the finest abrasives can be guaranteed! The equipment is available in capacities of 18, 40, 60 and 100 litres.
