Compact, portable, adaptable and practically designed - these are just some of the advantages of AIRBLAST® mobile dust filtration units, whether standardized or custom-designed. A complete line of easily portable filter units, cartridges and bags is available for use on ships, bridge construction and many other blasting applications.

Principle of operation:

Dust-saturated air enters the inlet collector where heavy particles fall directly into the hopper. As air flows through the filter cartridge, dust is deposited on the outside of the filter media. The filter cartridges are cleaned automatically and continuously without interrupting the operation of the unit. An adjustable timer controls the cycle time. Valve-controlled high-pressure air nozzles are introduced into each pair of cartridges via a venturi above each cartridge. The return air flow cleans the filter cartridges. Dust removed from the filter surface is deposited in the hopper. Each pair of filter cartridges is cleaned in turn, the remaining cartridges remain in operation. The mobile units are also equipped with an electrical panel with automatic switches, a main switch, signal lights and control buttons for the fan and a valve control unit for cleaning the cartridges.
